Hi could someone help me out pls, i am buying a Mk2 VTR and was woudering what are the main things to look out for when buying them? Also the air bag light somtimes comes on any ideas? Cheers

not necesarily the seats. but the plug underneath may have come apart which is to do with the seatbelt tensioners (i think) or the car could have been in a front ender or just the light playing up. take it to a garage and ask if they can put it on their scanner, but they might charge you...

think Dom meant the plug underneath the seats mate, normally gets buggered if the seats are changed.

if you're concerned get a garage to run it through the diagnostic check but they will charge for it

It's a common Saxo fault that can be resolved. If I were you I would look out and listen for the more common problems on any car.

my air bag light always flashes when i tilt the seats, i just make sure the connections under the seats are ok, they are dead sensitive. then it stops (until somone rives the seat forward again) lol
