Right, Im buying a vts engine, gti gearbox off paul collins and paid him about 2 months ago but i still have not recieved yet. It was meant to be getting picked up just over a month ago but couldnt because of some ecuse. Then it was meant to be getting picked up on mon. Just heard from him today that the courier did not pick it up although he apparently booked it and is finding out of the courier why it wasnt picked up. It just seems to be excuse after excuse tbh. Ive got all the parts i need apart from ecu im waiting on which has cost a fair bit tbh like raceland mani, pierx viper, etc. What should i do?

An engine doesnt weight 0.5 tons as i had a vts lump in the back of my vtr for about 1hour drive...didnt lower the back alot and axle 'was' fine at the time. Its fucked now but thats not the point ;)

I text him yesterday asking for my money back and no reply. Im going to look on 106oc as he now has a 106 so may have gone from on here to there. Is there any legal way of getting my money back by police or anything as could maybe classed as theft as not recieved what i have paid for. I still have all my pm's off him too.

did you pay via pay pal?

make a dispute over paypal, it will ask him to refund the money and take a story from you and him, then if they believe your in the right they can automatically put a negative balance on his paypal account and give you the money back, he is then forced to pay as if he dosnt ballifs will go to his house, simple as mate, go on paypal and go on resolution centre, or contact your bank and they will get hold of paypal

If done by bank transfer, get them to contact the bank and do a BACS return on the money as the product was not received and to contact the fraud dept and issue a fraud claim.
Also contact the police also, so that they can investigate as well under fraud.

Good advise, visa is probably the most likely result as will be covered by insurance etc, bank will most likely drag their feet with it all according to the missus and hope other parties sort it before they do

So that makes it a criminal offence, I would go back to the police and tell that this is theft and they have to act on it.
Also as you have got his account details and a way to contact him, can you PM me them please. There is another way this can be done also, but its not for common knowledge.

Paul collins is on 106 oc iirc And on here.
If you have his phone number why not try calling him rather than txting?
Posting complicated/used parts is always risky, As you dont know if/what condition they will turn up in. Or what happens when somethings wrong.
Even going in person to pick thinks up with cash is risky, You can get jumped.... etc
