When you adjust the strut brace so its tight do you, tighten it inwards OR tighten it outwards OR does it not matter??
i did it outwards so in essence pushing the two parts apart rather than pulling the two together inwards. Correct?
Cheers

yes you have done it right so it keeps the strut tops tight when cornering

yes you want it to pull them together, pushing them apart i presume would make it handle much worse haha!

He's done it correctly.
You do not want them to be pulled together. The brace should be adjusted outwards so all slack is pushed outwards. Then the brace should be fully tightened.

How do you know how tight to get it? I've never done this before, so does it stop at a certain point? Im geting one soon so this would be good to know :)

I just tightened mine as much as I could with my spanner. IMO it wouldn't matter whether you turned it inwards or outwards as I can imagine it's not moving the strut tops much, just making the strutbrace tight width-ways

Slacken the locking nuts so both ends have some movement then put the brace over the top mounts and refit the nuts loosely by hand.
Then take up all the slack by adjusting the brace outwards.
Then tighten the nuts fully.
