hello i would likesome advice on buying a vtr conversion.
it used to be a 1.1 and still is on the logbook and it needs a bit of work doing to it.the price he is asking for is £500 but a friend said it was only worth £300. The budget would be as cheap as possible.

what it needs:-
new passanger door
new tyres
mot
air filter
full re-spray
new front windows
body work is in a reall bad state
bad oil leak ( something to do with a rocker cover??)
may be new headlights
rear number plate light relocating

all help is very appriciated it could be a nice little project

Not worth it imo. The way you've just described it makes me think whoever owns it dusnt give a fuck about it, so its more than likely been abused.
the "bad oil leak" could just be a gasket. You can get one for a tenner.
