Ok guys we can now order out plates
We can order by website only,
So please go to www.dubmeister.co.uk
Then click on uk legal plates
Then scroll down "to or buy direct from this site, click here"
Once on there just use the first two plates, ie plate 1 and plate 2
Enter in your reg and the band you want PLEASE NOTE THEY DONT DO SHORT PLATES NOW
This is the important bit in order for us to get discount, Enter in your Sax-p User Name followed by your Full name
The enter in Documents being scanned and emailed
Once done continue to the checkout area fill in your details, Dont be alarmed that its charging you full price just yet
Once al the details are correct click to continue to payment, DONT PAY BY PAYPAL id just use card

Documents are usually just a copy of your V5 emailed and some form of id such as your driving licence
As for payment they will be giving me a discount code to apply when you put your order through online :y:

Plates will be reflective and the font and spacing is legal, so they are exactly the same as plates say from halfords but just made in metal form ;) oh and also law states you need a postcode on where they got made which be on, im going to ask into that as i dont want it to be noticeable, rather it was just etched into the plate or ghosted on like halfords do

I would like some pressed plates, but moneys a bit tight at the moment so it will probably be mid-august before i could get any. Would the group buy still be available then do you think?

dubmeister got back to me offering 10 pounds off if we got 15 people which should be easy now, with 10 pound off we would get the plates for 19.99 :y:
Also ill see when there is a deadline but last time dubmeister did a group buy it went on for at least a few months

Thye say to send them recorded delivery so you can track them and be sure they arrive, its less than £1.50 iirc so worth it really if you can get to a Dubmeister dealer.

Ok guys another update
Option 1
Craigs plate are now offering us 15% off so a set of plain legal pressed plates are going to be about 25 quid a set
Good point about this is going to be the proof of documents require as we only need copies
Option 2
Dubmeister offered 10 pound off meaning we'd get them for 19.99 (have also asked if they will throw in sticky pads to fix them on)
Bad point being with this is they need original documents, so we would need to send them by recorded/special delivery which will only be a few quid, however i do trust dubmeister and know a lot of people who do too
Up to you guys but i know dubmeister do a decent job and who im going to pick ;)

Craigs plates were offering use 15% off st them for £25 but i dont think that includes delivery so is a tad more expensive
So think its safe to say we should go with dubmeister :y:

You do have an option for short plates on legal plates which look ok (they are legal as lonas the spacing of lettering is right, correct font is used, there reflctive and have the postcode on)
Still want to ask about the spacing in between each set of letters/numbers as ive seen some and they werent spaced in the middle

Ok guys legal issues
The plates are only legal, they dont do short ones due to the machine laser or summit, they dont do show ones due to the law, so 100% will be legal, thats why they require documents now
They will be reflective, legal font, legal spacing and have the postcode ghosted on at the bottom :y:

Well i did explain about sticky pads, they dont sell them so cant get them with the plates ;)
I will be updating first post, the documents needed are on dubmeisters site though ;)

then go to uk legal plates, the documents reqired are on right hand side, 1 of each is needed and scanned copies will be fine but not photocopies
As for payment you will be more than likely required to do so either by phone or online, i dont know the detailis yet until everyone gets there user name and name on the list, ill pm the last few though so shouldnt take long, will be starting next weds
