Mk2 VTS with Mk1 Engine (http://glasgow.gumtree.com/glasgow/67/41073567.html)
I'm seriously considering buying this & will be viewing it later on tonight.
Should I stay clear with the engine transplant?
How much should I offer?
I'd appreciate any advice or opinions that any1 can spare 30secs to share.

not keen on the miles!
Thats what I'm thinking, def gives room on the price tho. Will be taking a mechanic/trader with me 2nite posing as my old boy buying me a car for my 21st -he can work on the price if it's solid enough.
Ah wel aslong as someones with you who knows what there talking about is the 130k on the engine or the whole car? as if its been converted?

Never spoke to you in my life before newfag.
Ontopic;
I wouldn't touch that personally, take someone with you and give it a good checking out to see if it's been bodged in and what not.
I used to have a conversion... and I ragged the tits off it, because the badges said 1.2
Wouldn't have another.

It's on the whole car Sam.
130k Mk2 VTS body & chasis with a 60k Mk1 VTS engine.
Not quite sure how that effects the ECU & electricals tbh
I'm unsure about it but will check it out first & will be leaving the buddo in the house to avoid impluse buying!

says lowered 30mm but looks abit lower than that, could be the way its parked mind.
just make sure ya do the usual checks rob an you should be fine
can try get the price down due to mileage and the fact the tax is nearly out, it does seem to have plenty of MOT left on it tho
