Black angels arrived :y: 7th July angels are now fitted [Archive] - Saxperience

My angels arrived the other morning:y: they took about 5 days to come but it was worth the wait, they came with Xenon bulbs and orange indicators but im changing them to the chrome coated bulbs:y: They are getting fitted on monday so ill gets ome pics up of them when they are done.

The chrome indicator bulbs i bought from a mod shop £7 for two, At halfords there liek £20 so i thought that was a bit of a bargain imo

i got these off ebay mate for £124 i think that was including postage and packaging aswell with the Xenon bulbs and ornage indicators bulbs, they came from wolverhampton from a shop based on ebay(ENERGISED)i think it was called. I can get you the link if you want shaneyG7

same car as me :y: . Erm ill have some pics up prob middle of next week,hopefully day and night pics. For the headlights you could get angels or smoke your standards,imo they both look good. For the rear.depending on what code your going for? maybe tinit the rears or get jewels. Ive got black lexus but from a distance they just look black tbh. Im nt keen on the standard lexus lights. You could also get morettes but there hard to find and cost a fair bit.

Oh right good lad, i think there mint man. There Ultras aswell so its a bargain in my eyes too. It took a while to coem as they wait for the payment to go throught ebfore they send it out and i ordered mine on a sunday and got them on friday..so yours will come liek either end of this week or early next week :y: cant wait to get them on the car, i reckon they transform the front of the car and makes a far bit of difference.

Yeah i thought they were a bargain tbh as when you go on other sites they are liek £160 ish or so. Morettes are nice but more expensive. Your car, your decisions :y:

Cheers Claireeyy, ive been tryna make my car as nice as possible wiht the money i have, i will be lowering it soon thought enxt month or two as ill ahve more money, which means more mods lol. I want to do smaller bits liek colour calipers, mirror caps, spoiler and then interior time. But it takes time but i think its worth the time and money spend:)

Just do subtle things which are affordable mate, maybe just put a small amount of money every week by(if poss)and do a mod every month or something. Then you wouldnt notice the money being put by. But if you did all the mods at once youd notice it being spent.(if you gte what im saying mate)

yeah I getcha. Haven't done anything to it so far except T-cut the badges black! :panic:

Just looking at the LED guide to change them to Blue, which is pretty cheap.

Trying to find threads to inspire me if its cheap enough! lol

Lol yeah,maybe do something to the grille?Chevron colours/mirror caps? Tint the rear/front lightsmaybe fogs too?De-wiper?Caliper colour.

Just a thought of what you could do mate, cheap options but make a dfference:y:

Caliper colour sounds good! Hard to do?

I was thinking of tinting the lights or smoking them? Don't know how to do either though! lol. Should be able to find a guide somewhere on here doh eh?

Yeah theres guides for eveything on here. just do a search, but tiniting the lights are easy enough mate. Aldo the calipers just takre the wheels off and then you coudl take the claipers off or just paint it on, as you can buy a spray on caliper paint or a brush on.

Cheers mate..Im pleased with them,, i think they make a fair bit of difference to the front end of the car..save up and get some mate:y:its either angels or smoked headlights imo..i got mine off ebay for £124 including some Xenon bulbs and p+p..not bad imo.

just be aware that the lens coating doesnt start to split /peel on them.

this happened to the first set i had, (ended up flippin the car and cracking them) so bought a new set for my soon-to-be-here new vtr :D

much better than the standard mk1 lights imo :y:

cant tell in those pics but did you change the orange indicator bulbs for silver ones? i remembered to do it this time before i fit them :y:

Yeah i have chnaged the ornage indicators to the silver ones,the orange ones ruin the whole look lol imo. £7 i paid for two of the silver bulbs and my amte works at halfords and he said they are like £20 there lol.

Cheers mate, with the chrome coated indicators the are really good, but tbf there isnt much imbetween them..there worth having and they dont stand out as much as the orange bulbs which i think helps with the look and looks cleaner etc:y:

Cheers buddy.Nah mate they have lookalike Xenon bulbs which are bright white amd some bright white sidelights etc, its just the pics as it was taken tonight when it was getting dark and could be the angle of the camera tbf mate.

I think you should get rid of the sidelight as it looks more whiter than the rest of the lights making them look yellow. Car looks alot better with angels

I can take the sidelight out if i wnat, ill decide soon weather i wanna keep it or not,not sure yet though,Yeah the bulbs are bright white, my mate put them in for me as hes a mechanic and he foudn out that the standard ones i jad before the lgiths were pointing in loads of directions and he has set these to the correct position and towards the ground so they are legal as if you do them yourself they maybe illegal(if you see what i mean)as the lad who did mine was shocked of how bad the standard ones where fitted and the way they were lighting up the air and not the ground lol
