80mil for Ronaldo
56mil for Kaka
And now, 30mil for Benzema who I thought was set for United ?
Also they are saying they are preparing a bid for Ribery probably over 50mil, where do they get their cash ?? Think its pretty disgusting tbh

Think they need to send some cash my way. If they feel the need to keep spending!

Gutted Ronaldo went..but hey ho!

Let them keep spending, if it was an English team i'd be worried.

Funded by the Spanish government the story goes...

then again, the Bernabeu holds more than OT and Anfield combined (OK not quite, but you know what I mean).

that doesnt always matter.
Bernabeu holds approx 80,000 and Nou Camp holds approx 98,000 and yet barca still cant meet our asking price for mascherano which is around £45 million.

Florentino Perez (Real president) is worth billions, so that could be something to do with it. But, the story goes that they have had two massive bank loans just this summer. Silly really, but there you go.

It helps having the banks/government involved :D

Real madrid still don't have a scratch on Barca hence the spending.. Barca were lucky to beat Chelsea let alone Man utd. And barca piss all over madrid.

Real Madrid piss me off.

As Ryan said, it's all government money - Real Madrid help them, when they need it and when they want to buy a player, they just ask the government - it's a shit way how it works and I'm sure Real Madrid do it for the publicity, look at Beckham for instance - he probably made that money back within a season in shirt sales and all the people who wanted to see him there.

Ronaldo deserved to go, can't be bothered with players who don't want to play for a club who have actually made him the footballer he his today then decides he wants to leave 2nd season running - hearts not in it. If Benzerma has any sense, then he won't go there...

Why dont they buy some defenders ffs, cant just have a flair team and win if noone at the back can defend

yeah they pee me off aswell look at all that money they have spent...its mental but thats why football is how it is now money grabing because people pay over the odds for a player.
tbh good business for us (man u) but no one is worth £80m imo!
fingers crossed they turn out to be flops for them!

I find it laughable that its not being looked into more deeply, if it was even suggested that the English govt was funding an English team there would be a full on inquest into it, but then again it just highlights Sepp Blatters problem with England, anything to curb our dominance.

It is scary though, sure we have seen teams spend big before, ie Mancity and Chelski, but they always bought players like Parker, Johnon, Bellamy, Bridge, Carvalho, Ferrara, Santa Cruz - not exactly world class eh? With the exception of the Drogbas and Robinho's obviously.

Where as Madrid truely are buying Galactico's, they are going after the best and no one else will do. I cannot wait to see them play together tbh!

Doesn't mean they play well together though, personally i think Pepe is shit.

I hope at least one of these signings decides to leave at the end f next season when they realise the club isn't everything its cracked up to be

They have signed Albiol from Valencia and they signed Garay last season but loaned him out so he's probably going back to Madrid this year.

Barca FTW

Liverpool and Real Madrid have now agreed on a price for Xabi Alonso which is around £34 million.

Where the hell are they getting all this money from? The Spanish Government?

REAL MADRID FTL

Robben , Sneijder, van Nistelrooy, Huntelaar are without a doubt known to be "available" to buy ... but Real Madrid won't want to be seen as a selling club as it would harm the image
