As title says... any one going?

i was out on my drive yesterday, just about to jack my car up to look at my exhaust (now need a new backbox) when my neighbour pulled up.(ive not long moved in so we havent really spoke to anyone) he started walking around my drive, :boxing:my dad was there and he said "you alright mate" and he started asking if we liked motorsport,, we got chatting found out he works at ATS and if i needed any tyres he could get me some!(BONUS):fcuk: and then he came out and said he got 4 tickets to silverstone on saturday and sunday... he gave me the 4 to saturday and said drop me the other sunday tickets off saturday night! (FOR FREE):panic::y:

considering we've never spoke to any of our neighbours properly before,, i was well impressed. LOL!:y:

the tickets are free anyway. would of gone if i still had the 172 and once you looked at it all theres nothing else to do

LOL! my bad i didnt know...anyway still a bonus,,i never been before and i wouldnt of thought of getting tickets for it!

is it any good?

im sure i went to this at donnington the other year , they had alonso's championship f1 car do a few laps.


renault are quite good tbh last year we won 4 tickets to silver to watch f1 on the sunday .

renault vip tickets free breakfast food , hats t-shirts the lot .

I was there. The owners club cars were disappointing as it was full of clios and meganes which I see every single day. Liked looking at the old alpines and that 17 turbo.

Preferred to watch the racing thou :y:

Well... it was a Renault event... so there are bound to be some Clio's/Megane's :p

The Alpines were nice but they had trouble filling up the space so opened up the offer to ClioSport and MeganeSport (iirc).

It was a good and VERY hot today. The F1 car was very amusing :)

I popped over on the saturday, was rather busy and humid.

Only really went to see the Renault ING F1 do some laps.
Must say silverstone is a fantastic circuit, shame they are switching to donington next year.

a family friend of ours owns a company that are the sponsers of one of the clios....he could get an all access pass for us to go to any race, so we can go round the pits etc....but we never got round to it :(

stay all weekend, had lunch with some of the clio cup guys partly because i used to do abit of work for ben winrow back in his karting days

me and my mrs just watched the racing particularly enjoyed the megane trophy's!

also liked the renault 5 rallying round the track when the older cars were on show tooo!
was a very nice day tbh..
