Can It Be Done??
Im Picking My Car Up This Afternoon (Untaxed)
and i havent yet recieved my insurance certificate through the post..
i rang them and asked them if they could maybe email me a cover note and they said no?
so does this mean i cant tax my car, or is there any other way of doing it?

paid £1700 insurance in my own name fully comp with EGG

if you get someone over 25 with fully comp insurance and they have multicar use then they can tax it for you using their certificate
bit late but good for future reference

The car needs to be named on the policy.
I have fully comp insurance and am 28 with other cars included and i can only tax my own car.
The only way around it is for someone with a traders policy to tax the car for you.
