Help!

My mums tryin to email me my photos off my camera as my usb is shagged again!

howver bloody hotmail wont let me have the file as its 'potentially unsafe' even though mums scanned and its fine!

can i run hotmail through outlook and bypass the daft scannin process?

yes you can run hotmail through outlook.

From memory, try this.. smileys/smiley24.gif

Select tools, accounts, new >> mail.

set server type as HTTP... that should enable a drop down to select hotmail.

then simply add your emai laddress and password.

I had heard hotmail had stopped people using outlook however smileys/smiley5.gif

Dont know of ANY decent email thingies these days... hotmail used to rock.

Are yu both in the same house? Can you not simply transfer from pc to pc if you are both on the same network? Or burn to CD?

Or fix USB? How can it break??

the bottom usb shuts the lap top off if used - the top one no longer recognises theres anythin in it!

dunno how it broke but my lap top is years old!

ah cd! can i copy them off it again?

we're on a wireless internet network dont think theyre connected any other way

If they are connected wirelessly you can still transfer files between them... they are connected!

You can copy to a CD, then transfer them to your other PC, no problem.
