ok im looking at getting some 15" pro race 1.2's and i was wondering which profile to go for they can come with 50 or 45 i think, but 45 is £30 dearer,is it worth paying the extra for the lower profile, does it look better etc

also which tyres could be suggested,im looking for a long wearing tyre, but also provides good grip when needed,i heard toyo sidewalls can be soft?

i know quite alot of people on here use toyos and i was wondering which brand you could recommend for me.

thanks very much in advance :D

my car is standard height, looking to lower 30-40mm soonish

also could anyone suggest a good place to buy them from,id rather not buy them over the internet

like most people i would recommend som 195/45 Toyo T1Rs if you want better handling as a 45 profile obviously has a smaller sidewall and less sidewall flex plus they look better than a 50 profile

as for tyrewalls, the Toyos have soft walls but not as soft as Yokos and Toyos are an all round tyre whereas Yokos seem to fail more in the wet and the Toyos are an excellent tyre for wear

i would get 45's, a friend has Toyo T1Rs and he thinks they are very good.

i have the yoko s-drives in a195/45 carnt compare them to the toyos as ive never experienced them but imo the yoko's are amazing and seem to be good in wet but i was looking for a good allround tyre...especially in damp conditions the yoko's are good will put them through there paces at croft on the 19th see what they do and go from there :y:

i have a set of toyo tr1's and they are really good tyres, greater handling in the dry and not to bad in the wet either.
