Heya,

Just wanted to tell you all to look out on the roads after tomorrow because I've got my driving test at 10:14 am smileys/smiley17.gif

I was debating actually telling you lot just in case I fail but I couldn't take it any longer lol.

Wish me luck and get a midlands meet sorted out soon so I can finally meet y'all smileys/smiley2.gif

i passed my test in 1988 and it cost me 80 quid(ten lessons) and 24 quid test fee,it seemed hard back then and with all this theory crap they have now,and the prices of lessons has shot up,it must be a nightmare for learners today.GOOD LUCK anyway smileys/smiley2.gif

I've done 4 hours of lessons smileys/smiley17.gif

my grandad mainly taught me over the holidays but so far it's cost me around 250 quid incuding theory and practical tests which isn't ally that bad.

But If I'd done the 15 lessons that they recommend then I'd be looking at around 500 quid to pass. smileys/smiley3.gif

Go for it scott! And bring on the midlands meet when (not if, WHEN) you pass!

The best advice i got was just to completely take the mick with mirror checks, take in as much as you can of the roadsigns, and you'll be fine.

Ive failed my theory 3 times, passed on my forth, failed driving test 2 times & passed on my third, & had around 20 lessons at £20 per lesson, so its hell of alot of money, i should have just done the crash course & spent the week in blackpool.

like lozi_murias said, USE ur mirrors alot, i passed my test over a month ago and if they see u using ur mirrors alot then u shud be fine, make sure you check everywhere when ur doing ur reversing round a corner.

This will be my first practical test and I passed my theory first time 33 out of 35 i think.

Yeh my instuctor said to go OTT on the mirror checks lol.

7 minors, I hit the curb in parellel park lol. I thought I failed so I relaxed and drove well until the end.

I got parallel park on my test and did it perfectly - ask me to do it now though, i'd have no chance!!

it felt like I did about 20 menouvres in my test. I did parellel park once. Turn in road twice, parkin a suitable place twice and emergency stop. smileys/smiley13.gif just gland that's all over now lol

I'm on the outskirts of n'pton, just off J15 of the M1 smileys/smiley14.gif

On my test the examiner said "ok so we're gonna do the emergency stop" and then there was loads of cars behind me and we ran out of road!! - i was rather upset, i like emergency stops!!

I passed in August on my second attempt i thought i had failed because twice he had to tell me to stop speeding oops! smileys/smiley9.gif I also love doing emergency stops but i wasn't asked to do one smileys/sad.gif i also like doing 3 point turns my driving instructor used to take me down these tiny roads and say 'you might need to do a 5 point turn here' ha never always done it in 3 but i just done on today when goin to me mates house and i hit the kerb twice lol oops
