Near verticle handbrake :/

My handbrake sits very high, almost verticle, im almost certain the cable need adjusting.

But with no means of being able to do it myself, how much should i be looking at spending to get it done?

Should cost no more than £20 at a garage mate.

If youve got a mate with a jack and a few spanners its a stupidly easy job though. Literally just take the exhaust off its hangers, remove 4 bolts from the heatshields and then adjust the bolt on the handbrake

on a 1.1 its even easier. just leave the exhaust on and slide the heatshield towards the front of the car, and you're done!

however, you have to maneuver yourself around the exhaust system so its probably a slower job as you have less room!

also check your drums/rear pads aren't too worn
