wet speakers

hi i fitted new speakers in the front doors went in fine but took them out today to check all of the wiring and they were wet,it rained last night just wondered if there is something you can do to prevent this?

i dont have the plastic behind the door card will this be causing it?

get a car that doesnt leak?

have the window seals gone? letting water into the door?

best getting the door card off and pouring water on the outside of the door so you can see where its coming from.

take the door card off the get the hose on it , then use bathroom sealant to make it water tight , its quite flexible too so ok for bumper roads etc...
