i have a saxo 1.1 and i have been told that i will need to put a hub conversion on before i can fit vtr alloys is this rite and if so were do i get a hub conversion kit from?

yeh that is correct....if you have a MK1 (old shape) there is some about for £100 but look very unsafe tbh...ive heard a conversion, a proper one would cost around £250, as for where to get one from...not a clue, someone else will know

to do it properly you'll need a complete 4-stud rear axle (go for a vtr/s one and you'll get rear discs), and vtr/s front uprights. should be able to get both for around £250 all in from a scrappy.

just get drums from a 106 diesel for the back and struts from a 106 diesel or saxo vtr.. job done!...if you have steel wheels you will need alloy wheel nuts to because the ones for steelys are shorter!

i have a 1.1sx aswel. does this mean for em to be able to fit vts wheels on m saxo i have to do the same?

indeed you do. the other blokes option with a vtr/s axle setup is a better option though... you will stop better!. but it is more expensive!.

fuk that then,i thought it wud jus go striahgt on to my hubs. im off to halfords 2moro to buy my other rimz den!
