No matter what car i get i have to have the top of the range model. I just cant stand to not, it would piss me off not having the best that the car could be.
Does anyone else have this problem? its really annoying tbh

or would you prefer to have a better car thats not the range topper?
like its best to have the shittiest house in a good neighbour hood, than the best in the shittiest 'hood' .

I have it with most things as long as I can afford it. But if I know I can't it's no big deal that's why I have the vtr over a vts, just can't afford s insurance atm.

I can live without luxuries, but there has to be a compromise

Know what you mean, wanted a VTS but cudnt afford insurance so had to stick with the vtr.
The thing is, if you do have a car that isn't top of the range e.g. vtr, you always know that there is the same model that is better than the one you have. Its hard to explain haha

Yes I always get this, start looking at something and then end up spending more on it to get the top spec version. Quite annoying TBH.

Yeah, I couldn't have the 1.1/1.0 Saxo (no offence, although that might be because I just don't like the look - flat arch and steelies = hell no), and am only settling for the 1.4 because of insurance.
But I’m like that, if I can't get the best, I want the absolute maximum for my money, absolute bang for buck. Which brings me back to the 1.4, best compromise.
Which is unfortunate when it comes to cars, as there's always gonna be someone with one better than you really :p.
So maybe I have a slightly watered down version of top trim syndrome.
