A guy at my work place just told me his wife has got a confirmed case of swine flu.

She believed she had swine flu yet she still took her kids to school and then went into the doctors surgery who immediately sent her out as she had all of the symptons. Later to confirm over the phone she had swine flu.

Is this not retarded on so many levels..

1.Her husband has probably past it on to me and the office
2.She has probably got her kids spreading the swine flu round their schools right now.
3.She went into a doctors surgery.

I am gobsmacked...

The swine flu doesn't bother me but surely we should use common sense to ensure that all the little kids don't get it especially?

She gave them no warning, in an environment which will breed that shit like wildfire...

I believe you are supposed to call and explain symptons etc etc...

i do love the fact that every case of flu or a bad cold is swine flu.
I'm personally protected by my tin foil hat and a little white mask...

the people in the doctors surgery may have already had health issues as well...meaning if they catch it they could possibly die...its the elderly and young that are most affected

I'm a bit curious, why did swine flu suddenly disappear from the media and then get thrown right back into it... and now it seems every other person has it? I personally don't watch the news as I'm too busy occupying my time with more entertaining activities. There are many different types of flu, hence why there is no direct cure, swine flu is just one of the more serious strands. Alot of people have hayfever and seem to be confusing that for swine flu... tbh I think half the UK is paranoid ;)

once you have it, and recover from it.. can you catch it again?

or am i right in thinking your body creates an immunity to it?

swine flu isn't the same.....

how many times have we all being told to phone the doctors if you think you have it, and let them come to you.

this is why people are saying it can't be contained. there's too many retards around.

You will then be immune to that strand of the virus yes :y:

There is supposedly a jab that the NHS is waiting to administer to the general public. This would consist of a dead strain of the virus being attacked by your white antibodies which would then be ready if the virus hit home again. (Correct me if I'm wrong)
