Any one get it?
I usualy love my car to bits, but lately its all going wrong.
Its in need of a new beam now so im not driving it much at all, theres a squeak thats turned out to be a knackered engine mount so that needs replacing and my cat has started to give a bad smell and rattle so i need one of them too.
Also it needs a new droplink and driveshaft nuts are looking worse for wear (only little but it all adds up) And thats before i can even think about any further mods.
Its hard because i only work part time in a supermarket and money is not really coming in as its all having to go on the car. Im trying to get more and more hours but they wont give me any so i might be having to resort to night shift. Im also applying for as many full time jobs as i can but to no avail.
Had a bit of a drive today to try and rekindle me love for the car but im still getting fed up with having to fix it all the time.
Sorry for the rant just bad times atm.
So anyone else got a bad case of saxo blues?

Never had the blues tbh. Always seen it as a challenge that's come out of the blue.

lower engine i think. but a creak isnt at the top of my to do list atm lol. Once i get the beam done ill look into it. But i may just replace all the mounts with spoox fast road items. upgrade while im at it. more money again but id rather not drive it for a while and gets things done right :)

Same with me, all at once.
Im in a supermarket job, clutch went yesterday, costing me around 300 as a garage had to recover it, and i couldnt get any cheaper quotes, need 2 new tyres on the front, drivers side rear bearing is going, need front passanger inner arch as that ripped itself out, and lots of strange noises that need sorting.
So the money that i was putting aside for my spending money (As im going on holiday at the end of august) had to go on the car, now im going to have not very much money for my holiday, and when i get back its MOT time. God help me.

I know what you mean. The garage cocked up my driveshatfs a few months back...now makes a cluncky noise in a straight line aswell as turning. Has cost me in excess of £600 this year alone and, to top it all, I got a wet arse the other day after it rained really heavily!!! Cowing sunroof has started to leak!! Felt like I'd pee'd myself, lol!!

gearbox went so i fixed that, then the driveshafts went also the power steering and exhaust started blowing and the head gasket was pissing oil out and it started to bog alot and just randomly cut out, then the starter motor went then to top it off my heaters stopped working. booked it in to the garage to have a new engine put in and everything sorted for the saturday. friday night i went to the garage to get some fags and the bonnet flipped up and rote itself off! lol

never really had to many problems with a sax, maybe cos i only had my first for 3 months and only had this one for a couple weeks, but i remember on my old corsa that all the jobs really started to pile up on it, needed new pads and disks, m.o.t, tax, insurance, new door, new 5th gear etc etc, i ended up just sellin it for twice as much as i bought it for (the guy new all the problems though, didn't rip him off) and then he sold for twice as much as he bought it for,
don't look at all the problems as needed instantly, maybe just get on thing fixed every wage packet, start with the most severe repair and work your way down
