Sounds good but reading it all how do you save it doesn't say unit they get all members

Seems to be when they get "enough members" and the government let them continue with it, they'll send out cards with which you can get discount at "a major fuel retailer."
....but it says it'll be a max of 5 or 10p a litre discount, and unless you drive an HGV is that really gonna make the difference?
...and you might have to drive further to find a compatible "major retailer" if you live in the back of beyond!
Sorry, i'm just cynical smileys/smiley17.gif

Yeah but 5p - 10p will make a difference when you are putting in 50 liters (full tank) a week!
I can see what you mean but at the end of the day if we saved 5p it would be better than nothing at all in my books!smileys/smiley17.gif

yea but most major retailers of petrol tend to be 5p more than say tesco anyway so you wouldnt make a saving you'd just be payin what ya weekly shopper does lol

it was in evo magazine, just went on the site and looked it up. looks like they have approached a few oil/petrol companies (bp and shell for arguments sake) what they are saying is that if they give them a kind of privilage card they will give peeps a discount per a litre. so the more peeps that sign up, they will just go there for fuel and the company gets more money back. this has been rumoured on the rigs i have been on for ages now and it looks like it may happen.
if shell can increase their market share by giving a slite discount out, they will most likley be up for it. these buggers are making £20m plus profit a day on some of the main rigs in the north sea (thats just one rig!!) so they could afford to sacrifice a few pence per a litre if they thourght it would attract more peeps.
im not saying it will be shell or bp, but it will be odds to be smileys/smiley4.gif
its worth a try anyway smileys/smiley2.gif
