New reg plates

What documents do you need to show to have some new numberplates made?

Its a new car, and the log book hasnt come through yet, so if its that that i need then, is there anyway around it?

It has pressed plates on atm in UK font, but no BS number or anything on there so dont really want to risk £60 fine.

Might tape over the F badge for the time being.

Also if i had proof i owned the car with the reg on the same document and had a driving license to prove im me, then can i get the plates that way?

Your V5 logbook and proof of id, ie your driving licence

when i changed my plates i got a cert saying that G4WNE was now my plate, have you got anything like that?

Probabaly a loca garage, its got french pressed plates with standard uk font, but i want standard plastic plates.

Might see if i can get my mates garage to do them.

Nah mate..

Its the original registration but its a french pressed metal numbe rplate with legal font.

I want standard plastic plates, no gb or flag etc.

But the problem is that, ive only just bought the car so havnt got the logbook to get the plates changed.

Dosent matter now, log book just come throught the post! Insured tonight on it and need plates tomorrow!
