after watching traffic cops earlier, it made me pissed off even more about how shite this countrys system is

also, after reading that stabbing thread, and knowing the bastards who did it will get off lightly..

anyway: on traffic cop's, a 13 year old kid got caught joyriding, for the 4th time!!! he wrote off a car, stole countless items from cars / cars themselves. and cost the tax payer X ammount of money in police time.. his sentance you ask? 12 months "supervision" and a years ban from driving

wtf, seriously.. a 13 year old kid banned from 4 years from driving, he'll be old enough to legally drive by the time his ban's up

before anyone says it, its not the police, they catch the criminals, which are let of lightly by the system

views / experiences / rants of your own?

ps: this country makes me sick

The 4 years starts when he turns 17. Is that the one where he steals a red Nissan Micra and goes into a wall? Is that the whole kids episode?

Just watched a old Ross Kemp on Gangs, the one about Gypsie pickpockets. Police were let down by the system as well. When he asked the police chief what happens to them he explained it all then said "so... nothing".

green micra, but yeah that story.. regardless of when the ban starts, you seriously think he's worried about a driving licence? having being caught 4 times already at the age of 13 for joy-riding and stealing cars

police must get pissed off.. hard work catching a criminal, for what? sweet FA

whole thinks aload of bollocks from start to finnish, too many people cant destinguish somone who deserves a crowbar wrapped round their head for breaking into your car and somone who gos out with a crowbar to cause trouble.

ive heard loads of people say "if you do that your just as bad" how are you when you are defending yourself/family/possessions from somone who has no morals or boundarys and you could be 18 or 81 they will rob you, stab you, shout abuse, vandalise your car, kick you in for no apparent reason this group of people are so easy to distinguish on wheather they deserved it and are most probably on record yet i run out with a bat to somone trying to steal my car stereo etc...
im classed as just as bad and out of order and the police will arrest me and then id go to court the judge would see im not on record or been in trouble and i bet id do more time than a 13 yearold whos so hard done by thats never had anything that spits at old people whos gang will kick off on you when you walk past minding your own buisness its not his fault its because his dad grew up the same way on the dole and in prison and on drugs.

he had a tough time and thats his excuse for breaking a 90 yearolds jaw trying to steal her purse few hours community service once the doo gooders have campeigned for this poor soul whos had nothing, and the police when they see him in the street on 1st name terms its alright they will stop and ask him how he is and if hes been a naughty boy lately. i bet i get spoke to worse than any of these people who do this by the police, im sorry but the police dont help themselves pinning people on cars who are just parked there/handing out fines and threats swearing at you when youve not spoke to them like shit, and even punching you and laughing that you cant do anything about it, not the polices fault though is it.

too many people trying to "do good"

dont get me wrong, ive got nothing against helping others

and i can see the view of, just because theyve commited a crime, doesnt mean they dont deserve a chance

imo: commit a crime, and take the punishment.. this country is too soft, hence illegals alover the place, and crime is on the increase

too much bulls**t blaming others. "its not his fault, he lives in a bad area, theres nothing to do" etc etc

ps: this country makes me sick

Me too, however, it's all the rules that make this country the most advanced in the world. Think about it, how orderly and structured it is, as of late, this is going downhill, however, this order and routine, is the British way, and the system (nationally), works so well. There are many stupid laws, but also, so many are there for our protection, think about how safe we are, and how fragile this world is.

its very arguable that were the most advanced in the world.. simply because of the pro's and cons of the uncodified constitution as opposed to a codified constitution

one of the main reasons for the decline of the "british stiff upper lip" is europe, quite simply, the british now bend over backwards and are a bunch of "yes men" to the european parliament

as woodrow wilson said: theres a fine line between domestic security and social freedom ;)

the "pigs" are tied up by the system you know ;)

although they should be out fighting crime blah blah, they dont get a choice,

until you understand how the system works, you cant make assumptions as to which part of it you think is "shit"

i did have respect for police before these incidents; ive never been in trouble with them, never done anything wrong; but after these incidents where they have blatantly made no effort what so ever, where it has been passed from officer to officer they've made no effort to inform me of what going on or even just ring me.... there fucking SCUM, they get paid to do a job; which they dont do... all there bothered about is people swearing at them and dropping little or being politically correct, it fucks me off, there just box tickers that think there gods because they can arrest people and basically fuck there lives up if they wanted to.

anyone could be a police officer, half of them fat shits on "cops on camera" etc. are just power mad who had no other options in life... clearly if they want to join the police.

im not saying every policeman is gods gift.. but they really cant even police the country anymore due to the stupid ammount of crap they have to put up with from the government

you sound wound up but youve just reminded me of another situation that happened to me at school i got threatened with a knife at school by a black lad for my mp3 player which he never got my parents rang the police and they said there was nothing they could do because of fears of being labeled racists this kid was strealing phones and everything, and he thought he had got away with it all because noone above him could do anything till about 5 of us decided wed had enough and leathered him and his mates ran off that were so hard lol we all got done even though hed stolen and threatened people.

probably. but since i dont, i just get pissed off that it feels like noone is helping, or bothered, and its like i can identify them, so can 3 other people, they threw a brick threw my windscreen whilst driving! :wall:

the whole thing from start to finnish needs to be scrapped and start again from police right through to court, but it wont happen as the government that runs the countrys corrupt itself.

should of ran the fuckers over like the guy in the golf did and he got done for murder, another miscarriage of justice i was in disbelievement at what the guy who was knocked downs family said on the news he was a decent man etc etc....
they made the driver of the car sound evil when what had happened was the guy in a mk5 golf was driving through town when a group of football hooligans thought he was one of the other teams supporters,
threw a pint glass at his windscreen smashing it into the passenger of the cars face, without thought he spun the car round and aimed it at them and ran the one who threw it down and accidentally killed him, i suppose he flipped like anyone would.

but the judge said he was in the wrong for doing that and the car could be repaired i was fuckin descusted tbf.

yes ok he ran him down but i would if i got summat thrown at my car for no reason and so would anyone with anything about them if hed got out that car after the glass was thrown the gang would of battered him if hed said your paying for that.:boxing:

Im sure people fucking hate you aswell

They helped save me life, so they clearly do serve a purpose

Just wait until your car gets stolen or your house broken into, then who you gunna call? Not the police obviously cos you hate them.

Where would we be without police?

this country is a joke 2bf, i'm studying law and the number of cases i've gone through and been amazed at the punishment criminals are given is ridiculous

when harsh punishments aren't given to those who deserve it for serious crimes, how is it meant to act as a deterrent to others?

it isn't just down to the judges, they have government guidelines to follow but bcuz of the huge prison populations, more people who deserve to go to prison and be locked away are getting away with "supervision orders" or "suspended sentences" to try and stop the overcrowding, stupid imo, you do the crime, you do the time

i respect the police as its the minority that can be assholes. they are only human remember and you get an asshole in every walk of life.
don't agree with the justice system at all though, its almost like its been set up to protect the criminals.
always thought of applying for the police before i joined the air force but i just don't think i could do it knowing that the scum that got arrested would be out the next day committing the same crime. That isn't the fault of the police, i'm sure they get more annoyed about it than anyone else.:panic:

Personaly, i think its a shocking system, specially here, Scarborough crown court, just go to the police's word every time, the whole system is corrupt.

when i was there, i read a thing on the wall, and it had the % of complaints that had been resolved at each court in north yorkshire...

Most places had resolved 90+% of all complaints, scarboroughs had resolved 17%

I got 6 points for rolling my saxo... wet road and everything, some lad in town just rolled his 3rd car last week, broke his own leg and arm, broke his girlfrieneds jaw, her nose, one of her legs, and cracked some ribs...

All 3 times he has just been slapped on the wrist and told to be more carefull...

Whitby police pick and choose what they do, worse police force in england im sure.

I dont concider myself racist as i have msny black/asian friands.... and my gf is part polish haha

BUT.... how many people in jail do you think is foreign?? im guessing a POT LOAD!!
and we are spending cash on these people keeping them in out jails to be released in out country to commit crimes again...

If they commit a crime, shourly they are not fit to be here... send them bk...

That or, commit a murder = kill them... steal = Cut off their hands etc etc,

eye for an eye! bet crime would DROP haha

i think it all depends on the officer you get at the time. like a said, they are human so will often go with their gut instint than going by the book all the time.
I had a fairly bad smash a good few years back and that was my own fault, caused by speeding and i admitted full responsibility at the scene which i was lucky to walk away from. There was no other car involved, no other people involved, just me driving too fast for the road and conditions. The officer said he appreciated the honesty and i got nothing from it. i got a phone call the next day from the officer asking me how i was and he said he didn't feel any need to take matters any further. i got a letter about a month later from the collisions unit saying no action was going to be taken. I was lucky to get such a nice bloke on the night.

attitude is a big thing though, if you get arsey with them then you'll piss them off and they are far more likely to punish you then.

hey, got randomly attacked one night buy a group of chavs. kicked in the face and head and shit, busted lip and fractured nose in two places!! bad times!
All got off with nothing!!! ABH charges dropped coz one was since banged up for robbery and wouldn't affect the current sentance.
JUSTICE???? what the fuck is that?? takes the piss, have no respect for the criminal system!

another one of mine, when i got my 11 points, the court date was 10 months after the accident, at the time of the accident, i was a month short of 2 years of driving, so 6 points would take my license, at the court date, it had been nearly 3 years...

So when i get my points, they said "your points backdate to the accident, so you lose your license" so i said.. "so my points come off 3 years after the accident, not after today?"

I was wrong.. dont get how they can backdate points to take my license, but i cant backdate them on my insurance... one rule for them, another for everyone else.

dj_russell

how the fuck did you get 11 points mofo? lol

i agree with you though bend the rules for them but not for you, dude theres kids a few doors down that ride scramblers illegally down my road with no tax, mot or insurance if i went out in my car id get banned they go out and the police bring the bike back in a van for them and they all have a big laugh about it and they tell them not to do it again 5 mins later the bikes out when theyve gone. and im expected to have respect for the police is it any wonder im always slating them.
