I've started being a chinnese delivery driver. 1st time ever for deliverys and just so happens they were looking for a driver.

I made a fair bit last night and i recon i did 60 miles on about £7 worth of fuel :D (not bad for town driving, and keep starting and turning off engine)

most delivery jobs are cash in hand and nothing goes 'through the books' for the driver so in theory he's not there.

unless you were to admit to the police that you were working it take too much time and effort for them to prove because as far as anyone is concerned you don't work there so they really wouldn't bother trying, they have bigger fish to fry.

iirc, dominoes staff use their own cars but whilst they are at work they are covered under dominoe's insurance.

Its a bit hard to explain the two or three bags of food in the car with addresses on though if the police pull you over!

my partner altered her insurance to business use, she is with tesco and they didnt charge her, made no difference to her policy

i know a few ppl who have dun and do do delivery, generally you wont get charged for changing to business, the ones who do it havent been charged for changing, the ones whov done it have lost license and been fined, the luckiest one got a 3 month ban only and 6 points, costs nothing to ask imo

£3 per hour then £1.30 per delivery is the base rate, but then you get more money depending on distance and obviously tips as well. Doesnt sound like its good but it works out in the end.
On a friday night I normally make £50+ if its busy
Its a nice little earner on the side to fund the weekend.

Fuck that, unless the houses were right by each other, the food would of gotten cold lol. I do like 3/4 max at a time.

One of the worst things is when you have to deliver to a house where its on a main road, no where to park due to double yellow lines and have to walk up through pathways to get to the house lol.

i used to deliver for the local chinese, was good if you want paid cash in hand. And the tips are really good £55 tip once the guy was getting married the next day looked minted too and it was a 25 mile delivery gave me a 100 note and said keep the change, kinda lucky there cause i think i only had about a tenner in change anyway lol

I got £55 for 11 deliveries inc tips. Out of that came £7 petrol so took home £48 :D. Not bad for 6 hours work eh!

I have my own vehicle and use it. It is cash in hand.

I was really suprised with the ammount of miles i did to the ££. At the end of the night i got bored so started giving it some but other then that, gear 5 all the way @ 1500 RPM.

Yes, i had to do that. ON A BEND ON A 60MPH ROAD!

HAZZARDS ON! and pulled up onto the path as it was so dangerous. The young girl (I guess 18 Y.O) Answeard the door in her PJ's. Short top with epic cleavage on display and some skimpy shorts. I kid you not.

my cousin used to do this in dumfries, just sat down the carpark chatting oposite the chinky untill they foned him to go deliver, he made a fair whack, £30 per night, and £2 a deliver, and would do 30 in a night easy, so made bout £100 the maybe only 10-15 on fuel, well worth it for 3 nights a week

as said, cost only like £5 to upgrade to busines for admin changes
