Just wondering if drivers under 21/25 can get day insurance?
Need to take the rents to chester tomorrow,but i dont trust the golf. Track rod end is fubarred,bearing is on the way out and it drinks petrol....Dad's car is a noice Audi A3

What type of cover do you have? And what type of cover does the A3 Have?


Surely if your both Fully comp, then with your dads permission you will get away with driving the A3, will only be covered 3rd party though.

they won't insure below the age of 25!


i had this problem a while ago and as much as you don't want to hear this, i couldn't find anyone that would insure me!:wacko:

Cant your dad put you on as a named driver for a couple of days? Ive had this done for me before - was for 1 week.

My gf just had to drive her dads brand new passat, he just rung his insurance company and said she needs to drive it for a week, cost like £22 iirc

(shes 18 btw)

Yeah as said, ask your dad to ring his insurance and get them to add you on temp cover for a week. Its what I done when I took my sister to Bristol in my mum's car but her insurers only allowed a minimum of a months cover but that only cost like £34 or something but saved me taking the Saxo for a 300 mile drive there and back :y:

You only need it for a day so why waste extra money on covering it for a week...

Last time I added a mate onto my insurance it cost like 6 pounds.
