rang my broker today and they gave me a quote and i was shocked so i got a few quotes online and for a 38 year old lady driver with protected bonus i was shocked at a fewi had to tell them of the 2 attempted thefts of my car and the non fault accident which a neighbour hit my car whilst it was parked outside my flatthese are the quotes i got

Elephant = £394.80
Diamond = £391.65
Privilage = £301.35

does anyone think these are alot or is it just me

Dunno supose so depends what kind of saxo aswell. All i can say is i wish my insurance was that sort of money.Mines £1600 tpft lol smileys/smiley19.gif

yeah it is quite abit really innit. Mines R reg VTR with cat 1 but im only 17 and its my 1st car. So knew it would cost loads.

considering ive never had any insurance claims thats been my fault and ive been driving for 14 years i think its pritty steep

why did you have to tell them of the 2 attempted thefts

ive had 2 attempted thefts
so got it de-locked and cctv put up, rang my insurance company and they wasnt interested

well they are irish (quinn direct)

but yes that is a bit high

my mam pays £200 on a 1.2 punto used for social and used for work and carrieing people as part of work

You'll get cheaper qoutes by ringing around, cheapest qoute ive had online is £2k & i know i can get it for £700 if i ring around.

try quinn they arnt too bad well im impressed
and its a 0800 number so no costly calls

i just done a quote on line with quinn and i have to ring them as they couldnt do 1 online as they need detail of claims i have made thanks thou ill ring them tomorrow

Jeezo I can get insured on a 2004 scooby wrx sti for less than that fully comp with 3 points

17/18? Thats still a hella high insurance quote. I bought my saxo when I had just turned 19, had a write-off to my name and was only £950 fully comp for it.
