Anyone figured out what to do to get the driver seat to lock on the outside rail..

When I get in after my daughter has been driving I have to slide the seat back as I like to drive in a 'reclined' position..

It seems that the outside barcket/rail doesn't lock properly.

I see that this is supposed to be a common fault, what's the best way to go about sorting this out ?

Mine doesn't either, i have to have it right back to fit under the steering wheel (im 6'4") and mine rocks a little but from what i've read its a common fault on most saxo seats, as is a rocking passenger seat :s

I may have a look when I have 5 mins and see what can be done.

It's a bit unnerving at times when you're going round a sweeping bend and then the seat creak and gives way slightly..

Of course there's always the option to rip em out and fit racing seats I suppose ;)

i sprayed some wd40 on mine then i knelt on the ground and just kept sliding the seat and it locks fine now

Ta, that's within the scope of my technical abilities, I'll give it a whirl.
