splash gaurds needed for mot? front? one off mine seemed it wanted out at 70mph

its a typcial mot grey area. if they are there i think they have to be in good condition and as you have one i would guess they would fail as you only have one (im assuming you mean the bit of metal behind the discs)

Techinically if its not there then it doesnt matter, as its not there so cant be tested.

I thought they were the bits of plastic in the wheel arch? Are they an M.O.T failuer if there not there?

I had them off, but mud goes all up into the engine bay and in the door hinges, so i fitted mine back in (as they kept falling down into the wheel

yeah, i plan on replacing them but i have my mot tomorrow and lost one.. thats why im askin lol..

dont think they are an m.o.t fail but your best to get one refitted as it stops all the dirt and water getting the outer chasis legs causing it to rust and to protect any kind of wiring and the like behind it.

dont most people fitting 17"s and with a drop of 30mm or below take them out because the wheels rub??

i know one of the boys round my way has but his sax is a chavy pice of :flush:
