anyone know of a way of getting the rust from them other than replace them?

e.g would i be able to paint them?

give them a good clean with some sand paper a good thick layer of primer and paint,
what sort of colour would you be after doing them?

sounds like a plan i've been toying with the idea of painting my brake callipers but i dunno what colour to go for as my saxo is black so could do anything lol.

should be easy enough get yourself down to a car accessories shop for some sandpaper,
a few different grades start off with a rough one to clean off the worst of the rust and then get finer to give yourself a nice smooth surface,
prime it,
a quick going over with a very fine paper then paint,
job done

ill use ma dads wire brush to start with :)

got loads of sandpaper in shed so ill use that

just need some primer

ill go to halfords next week :)
