cant find anything anywere...
will a de-cat and exhuast center section from a Mk 1 fit a Mk 2?
also ae all rear lights the same or not?...

exhausts yep, mk1 and mk2 lights look different but internally the same

the cat is on the manifold on the mk2, so a mk1 decat pipe wont work.
And you sure you couldnt find this on a search im sure its been covered

got an early mk 2so cat isnt in manifold...
wasnt sure if they were the same shape tho?

nope thats wrong, i have a decat pipe on my mk2 and that is clearly where the cat used to be as its not in the manifold. but as said i think the cats are in the manifold on later models of the mk2, mine is 2000

Same as you digital my mk2 vtr is a W reg 2000 :), my cat is completely shot so thinking of de-catting, if a mk1 decat pipe can be used then thats brill, but would also like to know if the mk1 manifold can be used aswell?

Yeah it should.
i bought a scorpion exhaust for my mk2 vtr, even though the cats in the manifold, they supplied a mk 1 decat pipe as a link pipe, still fit ok
