Got done for driving without license and insurance last september, only moved my mums car over the road, not proud, im not promoting it but i thought id tell everyone that i got fined £366 and got 6 points but i still have my license:D

Not if you get them before you pass. My mate got 6 before he passed and he's paying stupid money to insure a 1.2 Corsa (Around 4k)

Yes thats correct. Well you don't get banned...its called revoked. Which means you can apply for your licence straight away :y:

But if you think about it, you can't get a licence revoked if you havn't even got one!

Yeah I'm pretty sure thats what happened to my mate. He was thrashing it round the streets on his 110 pit bike, and got caught by the police and got handed 6 points on his license he didn't even have yet. Which equals him paying shit loads when he passed.

i thought same as you mr180, 6 points within first 2 years = ban.

I was allowed 12 points before ban even after passing my driving test due to having a full bike licence for 2 years ;) (not that I needed to use any points)
