cant get to my spare wheel

on my furio i had a tool to undo the screw in the boot to drop down the spare wheel, but when i got my vtr i didnt get a tool with it. i want to take the cage off compleatly but the bolts soo tight and i have no tool :(
how can i get it off :( :y:

WD40 on it,

Then Push the wheel up under the car if you can to take pressure off it. Then turn it with your hand.

You may be able to get a socket on it if that fails, like a 17/18.

if its to tight for what paul said,

let down the tyre to alowe the wheel to push up and use the end of the wheel brace to turn it

i was kida thinking that

wd40 leave it ova night - maybe a few persuation taps with a hammer ( if its still tight ) maybe put a jack under the wheel then mole grips or somthing ?

I normaly use a thick flat head screwdriver to undo the bolt thing in the boot

Mine was completely seized up, even applying heat to it didn't help. Had to grind it off and get a new bolt and hook.

I had to do this last night... no tool but an 18mm spanner did the trick

I also had to do this last night lol. Just grineded it all off cuz the gage was rattleing anyway. But i found a big pair of pliers did the job.

let down tyre, if pushing up doesnt work... then get a bar of some description, and prise out the hooks at the other end :)long winded, but if all else fails thats an option
