mk1 VTR=90bhp
mk2 VTR=98bhp
VTS=120bhp
the mark 1 and mark 2 are just different editions of the model i.e. mark 2 golf,mark 3 golf etc.
The differences are mainly the looks, the mk2 is more rounded at the front unlike the mk1 which has more square like headlights.
With the vtr, the mk1 has around 8bhp less than the mk2.
Hope that helps :y:

You'd want a VTR. Insurance on a VTS is a lot more.
VTR- 1.6 8v, 90-98bhp, ins group 7
VTS- 1.6 16v, 120bhp, ins group 14.

MK basically is short for 'mark'.
When a manufacturer makes a newer car with a same name but different design usually its a new mark.

mk1 VTR=90bhp
mk2 VTR=98bhp
VTS=120bhp
not 100% correct, the earlier mk2 VTRs are still 90bhp
mk2s look gash is the main difference
it think that must be a typo, the mk2's look far far better that the mk1 boxes :homme:

a west coast is a mk1
heres how it goes
mark 1 is the earlier model, sqaure headlights, boxy, look mean on the track!
-the westcoast is a mk1, they also did flat arches and the VT's
mark 2 is later, more round, generally looks sexier
-the furio is the mk2 equivalent of the west coast
not somthing you really want to be doing to often lol
nope definitely not good, but hes right, they can do 60 in second, but im pretty sure the 1.1s can as well, probably worse
