right, theres a squeaking from somewhere when i put my foot down.
it only happens when the cars in gear, its when theres no rev's then you give it some.
could it be the gear box? or could it just be because its french?

Thanks. :y:

Hi,

If it is as Lloyd says, then the release bearing is part of a replacement clutch kit.

Probably, best to make sure it is definitely not suspension related first though. Try to reproduce the squeaking by pushing down on the front wings and letting go.

Yeh its dificult to explain.

Its like your going quite slow and then foot to the floor and it makes a squeek for a second or two then its fine, but you can just repeat it again and again at low revs and its really anoying!

its definitely not suspension related, just checked. there is a slight rub/squeak with the centre section (all standard) rubbing on a kind of metal tin, but doesn't sound quite right.

haha, its more embarrassing than anoying.
a mate put gaffer tape around things until the rattling stopped, then fixed the problem! :y: give that a go. haha

sounds daft BUT... it's not your trainer rubbing on the inside of the wheel arch as you press the pedal is it... I only suggest as i thought mine was squeeking the other week but as i pressed harder, i felt my trainer sole flex as it was rubbing! Just a suggestion lol.
