No tax no MOT sounds like lot of work tbh
When looking for my 1st car I always came across cars with no tax and no mot
The person selling it would say "Oh it wail sail through the mot easy mate"
Why do people not put mot on it themselves if it will sail through?
At least make sure there is mot on it.

for 100 you could possibly buy it and break it for parts, sell the shell as scrap and make a profit.

^^^ yea as above, but i wouldnt buy it without MOT, as it may need a shit load of (expensive) work that you dont know/havent been told about....so i would stay away tbh

but without an mot you can still break for parts, like body panels, and interior parts, wheels etc

yea i know he can sell it to the scrap man, but i tthought he was looking to buy it, get it on the road and then sell it on :S

but if you can make a quicky and easy buck scrapping it then i would go for that

Id stay away,

The only cars worth breaking for parts if your just doing it on the side are sports models. Ones with disk rear beams, larger engines with sports inlet manifolds etc. Its also very useful to buy heavily modded cars that have failed MOT as the performance parts will have the biggest payback and also get a lot of interest
