Need help from y'all if you could. :drink:
Looking into offering a mechanical service to students at the Uni I attend this year; Servicing, repairs or replacement concerning all areas of cars except wiring. I plan to offer services to fellow broke students at decent prices whilst still doing the job properly. Will be working with a mate on bigger jobs whos a qualified spanner monkey
What I need from you guyz is help with the name for the little outfit, as Im drawing up posters now ready to post around the Campuses when I get back to Uni, and need a catchy title to get people interested.
Main ideas;
- Cheap, but high quality workmanship aimed at student runarounds
- Ideally catchy
- But at the same time sounding proffesional and not cheesy or dodgy in any way
- Will partly be a mobile mechanic, this could be incorporated?
Cheers for any input :panic:

A professional name will also get people interested. Lets them know you're serious about the work you get from it.

Maybe try get the student bit in there.. I don't think it needs to be too professional sounding when it comes to students.. just cheap with extra emphasis on cheap! More about advertising in the right places you need to be thinking about I imagine.
I trade as CableTieMotorsport which most people tend to remember lol

Monkey wrench sounds good
tbh if its only a student thing you'll get more interest with a silly easy to remember name. middle aged folks won't remember it ;)

Cheers for all the input, really appreciate it.
Went for 'Spanner Monkeys' in the end, as a base idea anyway, see how my mate likes it tomorrow morning. May even do a little bit of research at Uni see what people think of the name, for one thing it will all look good in my application for a work placement next year on my Business Studies Degree lol.
Anyhoo, spent the last 2 hours drawing this up. Opinions folks?

Its good, and your on the right tracks about advertising yourself mate, im planning on starting my own business and the advert basically appeals to people seeking informal friendly cheap advice, and then the little ethos part about why chose you etc.
but your advert isnt quite professional enough, some tweeking i think you could make it alot better and youll be onto a winner

LOL:
1. spanner monkey,
A largely useless individual whose only career prospects are to work in maintainence departments painting walls and replacing light-bulbs. May have questionable habits such as an excess love of porn, language that would make a soldier blush and a equally useless son.
"Why can't one of those spanner monkeys come up here to fix the lights?"
Surely not.....!:clapping:
bodge it and leg it motor repairs?
