I been with a girl on and off for about a year now... but have been together for 4 months until a fortnight ago...

She said i was to cling and she wanted space... So i gave it to her and got accused then of not being interested!!

Everything i seemed to be doing or saying was wrong at the time!!

Then... a fortnight ago... She decided we went on a break 'to sort it out' and the 'promised' me we would get back....

But now it seems she doesn't want to get back (she has told me its over for good) due to her listening to peoples bullshit about me, and now I'M the bad-guy...

I treated her nothing but perfect for the year and however long it has been...

Anyone been in this situation? People are telling me to move on etc, but i really love her and i know she is the one for me (even if i can get her to make it work ha ha)

The ideas i have...is to give her total space and let her realise what she's missing and maybe she will come around in time...

or.. Show her i still really want to and persuade her somehow?? Like send her flowers etc now and again???


What do you recommend guys.... is breaking me inside and don't know what to do anymore...?

If you can forget about her. Do so.

If you cant, and really do want to try get her back, is there something you always bought for her? Like a particular chocolate or something? If so just send her one like everyday until she gets the message your not gonna give up.

IMO, i would send her some flowers, and tell her how you feel, then leave the ball in her court. If there is still no joy, then send her some more flowers (say like a month or 2 after) and tell her the offer is still there...

if not after then then get in the sax and find some 1 else dude..if it is not meant to be then thats the way it is. love is a mother fucker at times... but its one of life mysteries...

people say its better to have loved and lost than not love at all, but thats bullshit, if she doesnt see sense after a few months, give her an ultimatum, tell her the script, this is her chance to do it, if she says no then the answer is no... and you will move on. and the door will then be closed. otherwise she will think she can walk all over you if you got with her.

What ever you do dont get into the situation where if she clicks you come running.. thats not cool mate.

i was with my ex for 2 years- everything seemed fine- until she said she wanted to go on a break to have abit of space .. so i thought ok no harm in that, weeks went past and then she told me she just wonts to be mates :O ahh - a break is just a easier and polite way of saying its over :(, dont get me wrong it doesnt always mean it as my mate went on a break with his gf for about a month then got back and hes still with her 2years later :D
