Not every cd player will read that, use itunes or media player to burn it

Some will read mp3/wma some will not. Try recording the cd in audio format, like a retail cd would be and see if that works.

Finalise the disc after burning it?
What happens when you put it back in the PC once you've made the CD?

And you may want to re-phrase the original post - as openly saying you're infringing copyrights might not be a great idea (if thats what you're doing of course)

If you have the manual for the car stereo it will say in it which type of CDs it will read. It may be only cda (standard CD format) which you can burn using windows media player, nero or similar. BUT it may be only cd+r or cd-r so you need to cut it onto the correct type of disk.

I know this is a stupid question but are you getting video when playing it through your laptop? I know a few people who use the same program you do and they have been downloading the video and not the music file itself!
