...the other day it was a mk1 posi blue. the owner had obviously tried to de badge it by the following method
1)yank of badges, if car is filthy enough should still be able to see outline of badges
2)just leave the little holes that are left , no one will really notice they'll be too busy looking at your car's cool chrome features
3) paint over where the badges used to be, don't worry about cleaning or priming the area first and its not very important to get the exact right paint a rough colour match should do
4)admire your handywork and go back indoors to practise tucking tracksuit bottoms into socks
voila!
