I have been offered some Bilstein's.
I read in a forsale thread that the securing collars are special bilstein only,
Just wondering if someone could fill me in as to what this is really as i dont want to buy an incomplete Kit

Thanks

yer you do need bilstein retaining collars

if you doint know what they are, you know when you look at the standard strut you see that gold collar that holds the shock into the strut, it screws onto strut, well you are replacing that as the standard one is too small

noo problem, you can get them erm it was easier for me since bilstein uk is only round the corner, well a 20 min drive lol i pass it on the way to the missus house as with alot of other good places lol

erm but i paid 30quid without vat from them

if you ring bilstein uk im sure he could sort you out youwould prbs pay about 50quid posted tbh cause if you pay by card he will have to add vat etc etc

so if you get a set of shocks without them you can still get hold of the collars, will just cost a few quid lol
