Got a bit of a problem on the VTR as usual! lol

Indicators and hazards have gone AWOL :panic:

I assume its the relay after a little search but just need a bit more guidence. I have no clicking sound and no lights on dash but the stalk stays in place and returns once wheel comes round how it should.

Just before they completley died the passengers one worked very lightly and only now and again!

If its the relay how do I go about replacing it?

i had exactly same problem a few days back. I made a thread n it didnt get a reply lol.

It's the grey relay in the passenger side fuse box.

i got a replacement one from 'Wheels' £10 for a fuse. And the replacement fuse has a louder click... kinda annoying tbh, but my indictators work lol.

Also, change the bulb what was weak before you change the relay/fuse box. Otherwise it'll pop again... and at £10 a pop... its worth changing your bulb :).

Have you checked the fuse?

Fuse number 6 http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?p=875025#post875025

If it was the fuse, you'd get a loud buzz noise coming from the fuse box :P

If nothing at all works, no buzzing noises.. it's definatly that big grey fuse, 92w iirc.

Checked the fuse and replaced anyway but I will give it another go! Anyone know where I can get a relay fuse from?

'Wheels' or 'halford' for a cheaper one. The guy at wheels checked the numbers on each of the 3 pins, and ordered me a fuse to suit. Works perfect :)

You have a local 'wheels' store?

As i assume a citreon dealer will charge x3 that.

Go to a scrappy and get one, flasher relays are quite expensive from the dealership or infact some shops

but 9 times out of ten its the relay thats gone

Don't think it's the 'flasher relay' This the relay with 3 red cables going to it? 1 cable fused?

As i changed this, and didnt fix the problem =]

same here. after removing my dash and putting it back i hadn't pushed the hazard switch connection fully in so had no hazards or indicators. was only slightly out but was enough to break the connection.

Just got my car back from the garage & had a closer look. I get the ticking noise when the indicator is on but no lights on dash and no indicators flashing! Is it still likely to be the relay?

not if it's still clicking. Should still be working, You been through the hand book and checked the right ampage fuses are in?

My Relay went AGAIN last night. At £10 a pop it's taking the piss.
