Hi Simo
Being a fellow Manunian i'm gonna add a link to sax-p on our shop Link (http://www.componentsuk.co.uk/catalog/). At the bottom left there's an Affiliates box which is where you'll be ;)
If you take a look in the "Displays" section you'll find some 12v temperature sensors in all different colours which we sell alot to the automotive game, mainly used to monitor the turbo temps ect but can be used to monitor anything that gets warm (or cold), so i'll be able to sort you out with a discount if you want any. Or if you just want to pimp your PC as well as your car give me a shout smileys/smiley16.gif

Excellent! Those displays look pretty cool!
I nearly ordered one a few months ago from RS, as I deal with them through work, but to be honest, the gear I was looking at wasnt as cool as those displys on your site.
What type of temp sensor is it? Type K thermocouple??
At some point I plan to make a display, with switchable inputs, to readout various tempseratres under the bonnet.
Appreciate the link too smileys/smiley2.gif

No problems m8..
The sensor its self is a 103JT Thermistor so the actual wire running to the probe can be extended to more or less any length, which is helpful on cars ;)
Display Info:
Range: -40c to 70c
Resolution: 0.1c
Accuracy: +/- 1c
Sampling Rate: 1sec
Thermistor Wire: 500mm (Extendable)
External Power: 5-7v
Colour: Black casing with White, Blue, Purple, Green, Red, Yellow, Orange Backlights
Only thing with these is they run off 5-7v so a voltage resistor would have to be used or a lower voltage supply to make them work.
PM me if you need anymore info m8, i can set you up with some nice prices.. I sell these displays to Courtenay Sport and a few other Automotive places and i've seen them sell for around £20-£30! smileys/smiley5.gif

Hi. If we get some pics of a car we can add them and a return link in our 'from the streets' section?
We have done this for cruise Bristol.
