unplugging immobiliser ??

Hi, since i put in my new clutch and connected the earths on my battery and starter motor, the car doesnt seem to want to start due to my immobiliser light constantly flashing when i turn the ignition.

Would unplugging the immobiliser stop this from happening and allow the car to strike up? Help needed asap please !!!

are both earths connected to the gearbox?

yeh there both fine on the gearbox (where they was before and tried different places) all the wires are connected on the starter motor and battery. . i just dont get why it keeps flashing?? i had this problem when i changed the gearbox but it was the earth on the gearbox

any other ideas, its doing my head in sat in a mates drive lol
