could anyone tell me what that light is to the right (orange one) and what it means when it flashes, cant find it in the manual, so i thought i would ask here?

Is that not low oil or something? Sorry I have a mk2.

Its your oil level.
Engine Oil Indicator [Looks like an “F” to the right of the digital clock]
When the ignition is switched on, the maintenance indicator is displayed for several seconds followed by the engine oil level for approximately 10 seconds.
Max = oooooo
Min = 0_ _ _ _ _
Shortage = _ _ _ _ _ _
The indicator will flash if there is a problem with its operation.

not sure to be honest, ive heard a few different things so i need a good opionion. but wouldnt the one on the left be the oil?

The one on the left im sure is oil pressure not level :y:

oh right cheers, its jsut tht, it doesnt do it all the time bout once every week. seems to come on when the temperature is over half. :/

mine goes out 2 seconds after starting so i presume its ok?
