god damn doorcards!!

for love nor money can i get my doorcards to stay on properly all clips pop in apart from the bottom one closest to the car near the speaker grill, i have tried all different types of clips ect and they still wont stay in, does anyone have any ideas? thanks

Do you have the doorcard hooked over the top of the door correctly so it sits flush?

+1 lots of people forget to do the above.

If not that then make sure that theres nothing in the way.

Just spend a bit of time and try not to get stressed :boxing:

im pretty sure i have it hooked over the top correctly, this is my 3rd set of doorcards i have had in my car and they have all done it, i checked that the hole hasnt got any bigger so the clip popped in, and its fine also used rear doorcard clips as they are longer but no look, its hard not stressing lol will give it another go on my next day off

about been hooked from the door pin it sits flush but near towards the wing mirror it gradually goes it does this sound right?

I drop the window right down and slot the doorcard in under the mirror cap first. Then work my way clockwise (popping the clips in) and do the torx screw under the mirror panel last.

i hope your taking the mirror cards off too (if thats what they're called)

i had a slight problem with this...

the top of the doorcard by the seatbelt side, should sit flush, the side by the mirror should be raised about 1cm

wind down your window for a better look

pull the interior handle open whist you pop the clips in.. it moves the card to the side sometimes..

didnt take the mirror card thing off no, i put the doorcard under it and make sure all the top bit its on properly then sort the door handle out then start popping clips in, dont fancy drilling a hole because that would look stupid! i will try all them tips tonight when i finish thanks people

nah tried the stripped look didnt like it at all, they dont rattle or anything just driving me crazy that they are not on properly lol
