indicator problem

recently sometimes when i indicate it clicks really fast and the lights dont flash i changed the relay checked every bulb checked all wiring etc so im thinkin its the stalk had a look at it today and it wont slide out enough to get it out in alot of threads people saying to remove the wheel etc but cant u just remove the bolts holding the column up and drop it down then you dont have to remove the airbag etc?

hi, u neeed to remove steering wheel and column to replace stalk, i couldnt get mine off but take it to a garage because u need the right tools

I didn't have to remove the steering wheel to replace mine when I had a similar problem.
You can simple undo a few screws to allow more space to slide the new stalk in and out

This happened to me, I just had a dodgey connection to the indicator bulb, ended up tie wrapping the connection together lol.

Where was this connection I had a look they all seem ok though

i had the same problem, the stalk needed replacing (ebay), i took the steering wheel off to change it, not a hard job, think it would be a lot harder to do with the steering left on, to tell you the truth i think the wheel has to come off to change it.
