No sub + 6x9's

I know all about 6x9's not working well with a sub in the boot. Just looking for a setup with a bit of bass yet not having a subwoofer taking up half the storage. So basically im asking is there anyway of getting a nice bit of bass without a sub, and if there is a way could 6x9's in sealed boxes do the job? :y:

yes 6x9s in single box's will give you a better sound than just in the shelf. you wont get loads of low bass but it will be the best way if you are not going for a sub.
