central locking not working??

i ave a phse 2 vtr and the central locking wont work??

the red light on fob works ok but the red light on dash not!

so i trace the wires of it and they cut of and wrapped up?

so where do they go or how do i solve the problem?

previous owner said it work when he had car but all of a sudden it stopped?

can some1 pls help?

where bouts do i go till look for that?

is that on passenger side along wit fuses??
