I've recently baught some refurbished VTR wheels to put on my phase2 VTR (the old ones are having track day rubber on them).
Trouble is, I went up to the garage today to have my road tyres swapped to the refurbished wheels, which went on no problem, but when fitting the wheels to the car we found the Phase2's wheel nuts would not sit in the wheel as far as they would the old wheels.
On closer inspection, the phase2 wheelnut holes are countersunk half way down where the refurbished ones are not.
Just wondering if maybe i've got some Phase 1 VTR wheels which are maybe slightly different to phase 2's in this way?
It's not a problem as I've got some flat based stud adaptors to solve the problem, im just slightly concerned that maybe the wheels are fakes and not OEM?
