Just get a bar job and carry on looking while your working nights, i did that. Advantage of only working at night is you have the day to look for jobs!
Plus your alot more employable whilst your in work.

sign up to a recruitment agency, youll get a job, it may not be what you like but its still money and if you do a good job and like it you can get a permanent job out of it

yeh?
seems most trades are pretty much the same these days.
i just dont know what to do!
i need to do a portfolio for my AM2 and go back to college *sigh* but i cant even find any electrical employment.
depressing to think about just doing bar work or working in tesco tbh.
started to feel crap these past few days thinking about it =/
hmph. things can only get better i suppose eh!

im a fully qualified welder and ive been unemployed since feburary, went to australia for 3 months. every day there i was applying for 25-30 jobs on internet and about 20 a day around the bars. i got home last tuesday and its exactaly the same here. just getting so bored of not having anything to do. things are looking up though- i got some work tommorow with an agency, probably really crap but at least its a few quid and it will stop the monotony of jeremy kyle in the morning.

watching jeremy kyle and top gear repeats on dave hahahahaha
i got a job with an agency a couple weeks ago in a warehouse... not the easiest job but feels good that im at least doing something and getting paid. those of you who are just bored at home i think just finding SOMETHING is good as even if you dont like it its still money and will make u feel better, you cant really afford to be very picky about which jobs you are/arent willing to do otherwise it will take you forever to find something.

Know exactly how it feels, really makes you feel useless and damages your confidence, starts to take toll on other parts of your life, don't give up though.
Lost my job ceiling fitting and was out of work around 6 months, now in a maintenance job not something I would of chose but I quite like it now :y:

i must be lucky i got a job through uni doing work experiance for a year and its the government that pay me so the company dont really have any reason to lay me off even tho we have had 12 qualified engineers laid off in the past month alone just hope it picks up by may next year i will have finished my honours by then
But good luck to all those job hunting, try putting an advert in the paper looking for work,
Delivery drivers are getting paid pretty good at the moment clear 100 per week work nights and free chinese lol so keeps some debts away i suppose lol

The weather is adding to the depression aswell.
