headlight level

swapped my originals with some smoked originals and altho for some reason they look soooooooooo much brighter i thing the level is to high but not sure? can anyone help with what sort of level i should be looking at?

If when you are following a car at night you see the brighter part of your beam on th eback of the drivers head infornt it's obviously to high. To set em up correctly need to be done at an mot equiped garage. Won't cost you much mate

so if i'm looking at a wall what level should i adjust the beam to point? ant the mo its kinda same height as the bonnet but does light the way quite well
